Location: Northamptonshire Country: UK Rate: Circa £225 per day
 

2nd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer

Circa £225 Per day, Inside IR35

Based in Northamptonshire, full time onsite.

I am looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer to ensure my clients IT systems run smoothly and are always available, whilst providing excellent service. This role involves both project-based work and BAU support.

You will need to be available for shift work across evenings and weekends, on a rota basis. Previous experience working for a Formula 1 organisation is needed for this role.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proven commercial experience providing 2nd Line IT Support
  • Experience working in IT for medium/large companies.
  • The ability to handle multiple IT tasks in a busy environment.
  • Planning and leading work with other people, inside and outside the company.
  • Following ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile best practices.
  • Supporting colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Strong knowledge with business software, Servers, and networks.
  • Managing databases and keeping them running smoothly.
  • Keeping IT systems safe from hackers and viruses.
