Financial Modeller (Permanent)
Location: England Country: UK Rate: Up to £70k per annum + Negotiable
Finitas are working exclusively with a growing AI company in their search for a dedicated Financial Modeller to join the U.K. team.
Ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of Excel and extensive experience in performing complex financial analysis of projects for their clients. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing financial modelling, creating and conducting presentations and workshops for clients based on the results.
Responsibilities
- Use Excel to produce high-quality spreadsheets and reports for clients
- Use financial analysis tools to evaluate portfolio options and advise clients
- Provide predictive forecasts, such as expected raw material needs or anticipated sales figures
- Create and present easy-to-understand models for clients
- Identify new business opportunities, such as undervalued securities or untapped revenue streams
- Work with a wider team for decision-making and forecasting
What we are looking for:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- A bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, or finance
- Relevant work experience from consulting firms would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engaging with clients at all levels
- Outstanding Excel skills or experience with similar spreadsheet software, including the use of charts, macros, and VBA
- Solid understanding of financial analysis terminology and best practices
- A keen eye for detail and an ability to sift through large data sets to extract meaningful information
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
